AKIPRESS.COM - A 9-year-old girl has been found tied to bed by her grandmother in Tash-Dobo village, Chuy region to prevent her from running away from home, police said.

The girl was detected by police officers during the raid "teenager" aim to check out how the dysfunctional families were doing.

The grandmother says that she tied the child to bed because she was running away from home and ignored her. The girl is reportedly abonedoned by her only single mother for work.

The girl's been sent to the Child Protection Center of Bishkek for six months.
