Mongolian President holds meeting with US investors

AKIPRESS.COM - During his visit to the US on August 1, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga took part in a meeting with representatives of the U.S. investors to Mongolia and business entities interested in investing in Mongolia as well as government organizations of the country, Montsame reports.

The U.S. investors and companies, whose interest for investing in Mongolia grows as the two countries’ relations reached to a new level of Strategic Partnership, asked the Mongolian President about the economy and investment environment of Mongolia.

Mentioning the great opportunities to invest and conduct businesses in Mongolia, President Battulga highlighted that a special attention should be given to the introduction of new technologies and building processing factories when investing in agriculture, high technology, health and mining fields in Mongolia.

Delegates from government and private companies, such as the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Department of Commerce, Millennium Challenge Corporation, the World Bank Group, Monsoon Blockchain, Wood Capital Partners LLC, Rio Tinto and The Boeing Company were present at the meeting.
