The woman's business is focused on sewing and preparing dowry for brides.

A 69-year-old told Turmush how much the dowry for local women cost and what's included in it.

"We receive orders for school uniforms, brides' dowry and yurt items. Dowry of brides includes 2 big blankets (juurkan) for newly married, as well as blankets for groom's parents. There are also other blankets and 8 soft Kyrgyz carpets (jer toshok). 4 of the toshoks are decorated with national ornaments. 12 wall pillows are also included in the dowry. Some clients order something else or in big numbers. The price of the set ranges from 30,000 to 45,000 soms," she said.
