AKIPRESS.COM - A telephone conversation between the presidents of Belarus and Uzbekistan Alexander Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev took place on August 2 following Mirziyoyev's official visit and building on the agreements reached, ctv.by reported.

The presidents again summed up the results of the talks held the day before in Minsk, discussed the key areas of Belarusian-Uzbek cooperation, implementation of joint projects in various sectors of the economy.

Mirziyoyev reiterated his invitation to Lukashenko to Uzbekistan at any time.

Mirziyoyev's visit to Belarus took place on July 31 - August 1.
