AKIPRESS.COM - The dam construction works are underway in the Sary-Tologoi village of Tyup district, said the senior officer of the district department of the Emergencies Ministry Mirbek Amankeldiyev.

According to him, the dike dam was built in the eastern part of the Sary-Tologoi village of Santash village council for 8 million soms.

The emergencies Ministry allocated 5.8 million soms in 2019 for the construction of dike dam of 200 meters long and 8 meters wide along the Tyup river. The winner of the tender was the “Stroi mashina” company.

11 units of the equipment are working on the site. The dam will prevent possible flooding of 35 residential homes in the Sary-Tologoi village.
