AKIPRESS.COM - President of Russia Vladimir Putin is to arrive in Mongolia on September 2, Montsame reports.

President Khaltmaagiin Battulga will welcome him on September 3 at the Central Square.

The presidents are expected to hold tete-a-tete meeting at the State House and lay wreaths to Marshal G.K.Jukov’s monument. Moreover, the Russian President will attend events to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory of the Battle of Khalkhiin Gol, which are taking place in Khalkhgol soum of Dornod aimag.
