AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Ambassador of China Zhang Xiao, Akorda press service reported.

The Ambassador outlined his vision of the current state and prospects of the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China and informed about the preparations for the first state visit of Kazakhstan’s President to China this September.

According to the President, the upcoming visit is an important event in the Kazakh-Chinese relations.

The President said that Kazakhstan is interested in development of cooperation with China in new technologies, agriculture, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres.
