
AKIPRESS.COM - Wildberries, Russia’s largest international online retailer, will open a branch within the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and building a large distribution centre in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Prime Minister reported.
During a working visit to Kazan, Prime Minister Askar Mamin met with Tatyana Bakalchuk, general director of the leading Russian international online store, Wildberries.
They discussed cooperation between the Astana International Financial Center and the Wildberries on development of electronic commerce in Kazakhstan. Following the talks, Bakalchuk was awarded a certificate of registration of Wildberries as a member of the AIFC, and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
In an interview for Primeminister.kz, Bakalchuk told in more detail about implementation of the investment project for construction of trade and logistics centers and the promotion of Kazakhstani producers at the Wildberries website.
