AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga traditionally gave a lesson on September 1, the first day of new school year in Mongolia, Montsame reported.

As the new school year is overlapping with the celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the Victory of Khalkhin Gol Battle, the President gave a lesson under the theme of motherland, independence, Mongolian language and culture.

In the lesson, the President said that the unity of history, traditions, language and culture are one of the columns of a conception ‘motherland’. “To retain freedom and independence for long period, the country must prosper and its people have to be educated, patriotic and ethical,” he told children.
