Battulga meets Indian PM Narendra Modi

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga met with Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi during his participation in the Eastern Economic Forum on September 5, Montsame reported.

The Mongolian President wished success to the Indian PM who is taking part in the annual forum for the first time. President Battulga informed that oil refinery project has been going smoothly, railway and auto paved road to the refinery have been built and energy supply issues have been settled since his visit to Mongolia in 2015. He further noted that promotion of the Mongolian-Indian oil industry and partnership in other economic areas is underway.

Emphasizing on the importance of trade and economic cooperation of Mongolia and India, Indian Premier Narendra Modi expressed his wish to carry out tangible works, which would result in the bilateral relations to be brought up to a new level.

The sides also exchanged views on issues concerning bilateral and regional security.
