AKIPRESS.COM - During his working trip to the Turkistan region, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin inspected the process of reconstruction in Arys and examined the construction sites of administrative, historical, cultural and social buildings in Turkistan regiom, his press service reported.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development, 99.3% of repair work is currently completed in Arys. 134 construction companies, more than 3.8 thousand workers and 211 special equipments are involved in the work at the facilities.
There are 68 social facilities (educational, health and sports institutions) in Arys, of which 64 are subject to major repairs and 4 – to complete restoration. Currently, work has been completed at 62 sites.
In Turkistan, the PM visited the construction site of the future international airport. The project is being implemented jointly with the Turkish company YDA Holding. The terminal capacity will be 3 million passengers per year. The object is planned to be completed at the end of next year.
Mamin was informed about the progress in the construction of administrative, social, historical and cultural facilities.
He was then presented the General Development Plan of Turkistan and acquainted with the ongoing investment projects in the Turkistan region.
