Office of Kyrgyz Embassy might open in Irkutsk region
AKIPRESS.COM - Governor of Irkutsk region Sergey Levchenko met with Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia Alikbek Jekshenkulov, the press service of the Irkutsk regional government reported.
The sides discussed possibility of opening of the office of the Kyrgyz Embassy in the city of Irkutsk.
According to Levchenko, the sides should develop a complex of bilateral ties and bring the cooperation to a new level.
Both vowed to boost cooperation in agriculture, engineering and forestry sectors.
Some 60 students from Kyrgyzstan study in Irkutsk today. There are Kyrgyz enterprises in the city, which Jekshenkulov plans to visit.
