Urken Bisakayev appointed Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Urken Bisakayev was appointed Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan, the press service of the Prime Minister reported.

Bisakaev was born Sep. 24, 1977, in the West Kazakhstan region. He graduated from the Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University, Caspian State University named after Yesenova.

In various years, he worked in the commercial sector.

In 2007-2010, he was chief inspector, head of the organizational and control department of the akim of the Mangystau region.

In 2010-2012, he was deputy mayor of Aktau.

In 2012-2017, he was head of the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways of the Mangystau region.

In 2016-2017, he served as deputy mayor of Aktau.

In 2017-2018, he headed the Department of Tourism of the Mangystau region.

In 2018-2019, he was deputy governor of the Mangystau region.

Since May 2019, he was chairman of the board of NC Kazakh Tourism JSC.
