AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Prime Minister Askar Mamin and Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament Dariga Nazarbayeva, Akorda reported.

Mamin told the President about current issues of socio-economic development, measures taken to attract foreign investment, implementation of public-private partnership projects, as well as regional development. In addition, he informed the President about the draft clarification of the state budget for 2019.

The head of state ordered the Prime Minister to start preparation for an expanded meeting on economic development in mid-October.

The Speaker of the Senate informed the President about the current activities of the upper house of the Parliament, as well as the plan of legislative works.

Tokayev stressed the importance of high-quality legislative support of the main provisions of his State of the Nation Address.
