AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with President of Iran Hassan Rouhani, Akorda reports.

The sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, transport and logistics, and agricultural areas.

The President of Kazakhstan stressed the need to further expand ties between the countries, as well as strengthen cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union.

Following the meeting, the head of state invited Hassan Rouhani to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan.
