Kara-Balta craftsman made a DIY plastic bottle recycling device to fight against pollution

AKIPRESS.COM - Kara-Balta craftsman Beishen Achakeyev recycles plastics turning them into useful household items.

He learned about it from the Internet. The idea is about cutting bottles turning them into thin plastic strips. To do this, he created a special device that allows to cut bottles of any size quickly.

The bottle cutter allows to make strips of width from 1 mm to 1 cm. The construction is small and can be made at home.

Achakeyev then makes strong ropes from these strips. These ropes are indispensable helpers in the household. They turn out strong and durable.

Achakeyev said it takes about 30 bottles to make one rope, and 20 minutes to twist it.

This is how he fights for the environment in his town,  Beishen said, and urged all the Kyrgyz people to follow his example.
