Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia briefed on number of joint projects

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the 16th Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia in Omsk were presented a number of joint projects, Akorda reported.

They got acquainted with the investment opportunities of the border territories of the two countries.

The heads of state were also presented a program of joint actions on the functioning of checkpoints on the Russian-Kazakh border. The road map envisages the complete construction of more than 40 road and rail checkpoints within five years.
