Kazakhstan participates in meeting of Council of Eurasian Economic Commission

AKIPRESS.COM - First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov took part in the regular meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the press service of the PM reports.

The EEC Council reviewed the issues of the functioning of domestic markets, international cooperation, customs and technical regulation, the digital agenda of the EAEU, sanitary and phytosanitary measures.

The information of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the progress in eliminating exemptions, restrictions and barriers in the EAEU domestic market was heard.

The EEC Council approved the draft Agreement on the provision of pensions for workers of the EAEU member states, aimed at the formation, preservation and implementation of the pension rights of workers on the same conditions and in the same manner as citizens of the state of employment.

The proposal was approved to study the issue of forming the EAEU Industrialization Map, which will allow one to see each other's mutual plans and correct them in a timely manner and contribute to the formation of production chains within the EAEU.

The agenda of the next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, which is scheduled for Dec. 20, 2019, in St. Petersburg, was approved.
