AKIPRESS.COM - On November 30, the first direct flight of Kazakhstan’s SCAT airline on the Almaty-Jeddah route with 112 passengers on board was launched, the New Europe reported as Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry saying.
According to the Kazakh ministry, direct flights are expected to support business relations and tourism between two countries.
“According to SCAT management, the airline plans to operate direct regular flights from the city of Almaty to the cities of Saudi Arabia – Jeddah and Medina twice a week – every Saturday and Wednesday, respectively,” the press release reed.
