AKIPRESS.COM - Border guards of Kyrgyzstan helped return to the citizens of Kyrgyzstan 1024 heads of small cattle and 9 horses in 10 months of 2019, which crossed the territory of Uzbekistan during the grazing, the State Border Service said.

400 heads of small and cattle were returned by the Uzbek side and handed over to the border guards of Kyrgyzstan. The transfer of animals took place December 7 in the Jalal-Abad region state border section.

Cooperation between the border agencies of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan reached a new level. This has made it possible to reduce the conflicts in the Kyrgyz-Uzbek section of the state border and to promptly resolve many issues at the level of heads of border posts, the statement said.
