Six doctors quit in Kara-Kul town

AKIPRESS.COM - Six doctors quit the job at the hospital in Kara-Kul town, Jalal-Abad region.

Doctors explained their resignation by the lack of necessary housing conditions, and that the local authorities do not support them.

However, local authorities denied that and said they support doctors and teachers. Due to lack of funds in the local budget, they failed to keep their promises only last year. On December 5, Bakytbek Kyrgyzaliev, chairman of the city council, noted that this issue will be resolved next year.

Two gynaecologists, a surgeon, an eye doctor, a lorry and an ophthalmologist have resigned. They are all young specialists with no work experience.
