AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolians studying and working in Australia, Mongolian Community Association in Australia, staff of the Embassy of Mongolia in Australia and the employees of MGL All Types Construction company raised $5,000 under a two-week campaign for support in the fight against the bushfires burning across Australia, Montsame reported.

The donation was handed over to the New South Wales Red Cross Society on December 6.

Expressing gratitude to Mongolians for their donation, Belinda Dimovski, Director of Engagement and Support at Australian Red Cross, noted that their donation is a valuable contribution to restoring the nature as it takes years to rehabilitate an area heavily devastated by the bushfire.
