AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Ölziisaikhany Enkhtüvshin received Ambassador of Australia to Mongolia Dave Vosen, Montsame reports.

Ölziisaikhany expressed his condolences on wildfires in Australia that resulted severe deaths, and material damage. He also noted that the broadening of relations and cooperation with Australia which has supported democracy and reforms in Mongolia since the beginning occupies an important position in foreign policy of Mongolia in Asia-Pacific Region.

Ambassador Dave Vosen highlighted that although Mongolia and Australia are distant from each other in terms of geography, the two countries have similarities in values, democracy and economy etc.

Moreover, he expressed his satisfaction with his appointment as an Ambassador of Australia to Mongolia. The sides also exchanged views on cooperation in trade, economy, investment, education, emergency situations and other fields.
