AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Finance of Mongolia Ch.Khurelbaatar and Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Development Bank of Belarus Ivan Varenitsa signed a special loan agreement of the General Agreement on Export Loan between the Governments of Mongolia and Belarus on December 20, Montsame reports.

EUR 13.1 million of the loan is to be spent on acquiring 71 firetrucks and other necessary equipment for the National Emergency Management Agency.

According to requirements and standards for fire fighting and rescue operations, the rescue brigades should have nine types of 501 fire trucks. However, only six types of 240 fire trucks are being used in the operations, which make up 48 percent of the required amount.
