AKIPRESS.COM - On the occasion of the Independence Day of Kazakhstan an official reception was held in Amman, the MFA of Kazakhstan reported.

The celebration was attended by representatives of state institutions and ministries, prominent public and political figures, members of parliament, diplomatic corps, representatives of business, cultural and scientific circles, mass media, as well as citizens of Kazakhstan.

Performance of the honored artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of numerous music festivals and competitions, the famous violinist Aida Ayupova was the gem of the event.

During the reception books about the First President  Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and brochures on the investment opportunities of the country were distributed to the guests, also videos about modern Kazakhstan were shown.

Publication of an article of the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Toumatov in one of the major printed periodicals of the Kingdom «the Jordan Times», which highlighted the country's main achievements over the years of independence, as well as dynamics of Kazakh-Jordanian relations and prospects for their further development, was timed to coincide with the Independence Day.
