AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the Generals' Council of Kazakhstan Rustem Kaidarov died in the plane crash today near Almaty, local media report.

Major General of Justice, Honored Worker of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR, Professor, Chairman of the Presidium of the NGO “Council of Generals” Kaidarov is listed among other victims of the tragedy

Kaidarov was born on May 18, 1940 in Semipalatinsk. In 1970 he graduated from the law faculty of the Kazakh State University.

The Bek Air plane crashed outside Almaty at 7.22 am local time today with 95 passengers and 5 crew members aboard. The death toll reached 15 people.
