AKIPRESS.COM - The winter sports competitions were held in Arstanbap village, Bazar-Korgon district, Jalal-Abad region, Turmush said.

Tourists from India and Germany watched the competitions, local tourism coordinator Hayat Tarikov said.

“We hold the winter sports competitions every year. Their main goal is to attract tourists. This year more than 100 people watched the competitions. Participants contested in ski race, arm wrestling, horseback wrestling of horsemen,” he said.

10 skiers overcame a 8 km distance. Chingiz Davranbekov won the first prize, Abror Akimjanov won the second prize.

Daniyar Akimjanov won the first prize in 5 km distance in cross-country ski race.

The winners received monetary prizes and awards.
