Mongolian parents to be allowed paid leave to nurse their flu-infected children

AKIPRESS.COM - The Cabinet of Ministers of Mongolia with its resolution dated on January 26 ordered the heads of state-owned organizations to entitle their employees - parents and guardians - with children affected by flu or flu-like illnesses to paid leave of up to five days and recommended the same to private sector organizations, Montsame reports.

Also, MNT 510 million will be taken out from the Government's Reserve Fund to prevent the novel coronavirus, ensure the preparedness of medical services, and purchase medicines and medical tools, personal protective equipment, disinfectants, test kits, and other equipment much needed for border control posts.

Minister of Health D.Sarangerel was assigned to purchase necessary hospital equipment and devices with funds from the approved budget.
