AKIPRESS.COM - A photo of the frozen employee of the police department of Karaganda region of Kazakhstan was posted on social media during the rescue operations amid severe weather in the country, polisia.kz reported.
Damir Kudaibergen and Ryskali Zhazykbayev said they evacuated about 40 people during the cold snap on Temirtau — Karaganda highway.
The positive police officers told about their rescue works on the roads.
Due to the poor visibility on the roads during blizzard, 26 road accidents were registered on the roads of Karaganda within a day on January 28.
About 40 cars and 174 people were saved from freeze, they noted.
