AKIPRESS.COM - The monthly salaries of mayors of Kazakhstan's Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent cities start from 700,000 tenge ($1852.22), NUR.KZ reported.

According to official reports, Altai Kulginov, mayor of Nur-Sultan, gets 771,000 tenge per month. This was reported at the end of last summer.

His assitants receive from 380,000 tenge to 512,000 tenge.

The salaries of mayors depend on work experience, according to the administration of the cities.

The salary of mayor of Almaty is 967,000 temge. However, Bakytzhan Sagintayev gets 784,000 tenge after deduction of taxes.

Mayor of Shymkent Murat Aitenov receives fewer salary – 761,000 tenge. His official salary is 946,000 tenge.
