Kazakh-Mongolian cooperation reviewed

AKIPRESS.COM - Speaker of the Parliament of Mongolia G.Zandanshatar met with Ambassador of Kazakhstan Zhalgas Adilbayev on February 6, Montsame reported.

The Ambassador emphasized that the official visit by Mongolian Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh to Kazakhstan after 25 years has been an impetus to develop bilateral relations and cooperation.

The 8th regular meeting of Mongolia-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission will take place in Ulaanbaatar in April 2020, according to him.

Ambassador Adilbayev also told about Kazakh PM's visit to Mongolia in May this year and Mongolian President’s visit to the country this year.

Moreover, the Ambassador asked the Speaker to support high-level participation of the Mongolian side in the international conference themed ‘Leadership of Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev, the first President of Kazakhstan’ to be held in Nur-Sultan on July 5 this year.

Speaker Zandanshatar agreed that the sides need to focus on regularizing high-level reciprocal visits and developing economy, trade, tourism, culture, and humanitarian sectors while expressing commitment to give all-round support from the parliament.

The Kazakh side reminded that Kazakhstan is going to celebrate the 175th birth anniversary of Abai Kunanbayuly and the 750th anniversary of Golden Horde and delivered greeting of upcoming Tsagaan Sar Holiday to Mongolians.
