
AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Mongolia to Japan D.Batjargal visited the the Influenza Virus Research Center of Japan’s National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID) in Musashimurayama, Tokyo and received 1,000 novel coronavirus test kits provided for Mongolia through the World Health Organization, Montsame reported.
Director of the NIID Influenza Virus Research Center Hideki Hasegawa noted the center is double checking the results of the coronavirus tests performed in Mongolia and provided the latest updates on the coronavirus situation in Japan.
Expressing his gratitude to the center’s staff, Ambassador D.Batjargal said he is pleased that bilateral relations and cooperation have been deepening in every field including health care and that mutual trust has been deepening further between the people of the two countries.
