Mongolia cancels all tourism events in March

AKIPRESS.COM - The Minister of Environment and Tourism decided today to cancel all tourism event scheduled in March, news.mn reports.

The Mongolian National Emergency Commission has declared advanced emergency readiness and preparation in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Mongolia organizes several winter events for attracting tourists. The events which are being cancelled are:

-The ‘Blue Pearl’ ice festival in Khuvsgul province on March 2-4.

-The Eagle Festival on March 4-5.

-The camel festival in Umnugobi province on March 6-8.

-‘Mungulug shagshuurga’ ice festival in Khovd province.

-Nauryz Festival on March 21-23.
