AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Health of Mongolia Davaajantsangiin Sarangerel received U.S. Ambassador to Mongolia Michael S. Klecheski on Feb 18, Montsame reports.

At the meeting the U.S. Ambassador expressed willingness to provide necessary assistance to Mongolia on preventing the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The sides exchanged views on bilateral health cooperation and measures being carried out by relevant ministries on combating the global outbreak of the disease.

After introducing about preventive steps and the current influenza situation in the country, the Minister pointed out the effective partnership between Mongolia and the USA on the improvement of health services and early detection of non-communicable diseases.
