
AKIPRESS.COM - A school burned down in a village in Osh region. The cause of fire is not known yet.
Local people and policemen were involved in extinguishing the fire and were able to save school desks and chairs, as well as books from library. The firefighters were able to reach the site only the next morning because of the icy roads and long distance (122 km).
The school is located in Koo-Chaty village. It caught on fire on Feb 17 midnight and was extinguished only the next morning.
The school burned down entirely. The area of fire was 500 m2, no injuries and casualties were reported.
