Coronavirus: Mass events officially banned in Kyrgyzstan until further notice

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz government officially introduced a temporary ban on holding mass cultural, sports and other events until coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in the world improves,  Prime Minister endorsed relevant ruling on March 12. 

The move is aimed to prevent coronavirus outbreak in Kyrgyzstan and protect epidemiological well-being of the population.

As of March 12, no coronavirus case was officially reported in Kyrgyzstan.

Individuals and legal entities involved in trade, public catering, and providing other services are advised to refrain from holding or participating in mass events until further notice.

They are also recommended to install sanitizers and air purifiers in the premises and halls for disinfection purposes.

Central and local government bodies are instructed to take measures to provide institutions providing state and municipal services to the population with disinfectants, and to conduct extensive public awareness campaigns among the population.
