Mongolian health professionals learn China’s experience with coronavirus

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Health of Mongolia D.Sarangerel, Deputy Health Minister, State Secretary, heads and specialists of departments and authorities of the Ministry as well as representatives of WHO Representative Office, the National Center for Communicable Disease and epidemiological and clinical advisory teams attended an online meeting ‘China’s experience on responsive measures against coronavirus infection’ which was held by the WHO, Montsame reported.

At the online meeting, health professionals, scholars and researchers of Shanghai, Hubei, Wuhan cities where the virus infections had been highly spread, shared their experience and lessons learnt from research, diagnosis, treatment as well as actions for preventing and containing the outbreak of the virus.

In particular, they provided thorough information on conducting survey on suspected cases and those who had close contact with the infected patients, restricting public movement, measures related to travel, environmental supervision, use of personal protective equipment as well as diagnosis and treatment.
