Kazakhstan announces 5 new COVID-19 cases, 49 in total

AKIPRESS.COM - Five new COVID-19 cases were registered in Kazakhstan, the Health Ministry said.

Three new cases were confirmed in Almaty and two new cases were registered in Karaganda.

The total number of COVID-19 infected people reached 49  in Kazakhstan, including 25 cases in Nur-Sultan, 22 in Almaty and 2 in Karaganda.

The Ministry of Health did not elaborate the details of new cases.

The plane en route from Minsk to Nur-Sultan landed in Karaganda. All 67 passengers were quarantined. The plane carried citizens of Kyrgyzstan reutrning from European countries.
