Kazakhstan denies 3 lethal cases from COVID-19

AKIPRESS.COM - Health Ministry’s spokesperson Dias Akhmetsharip refuted the reports about three deaths from COVID-19 in Kazakhstan.

The websites worldometers and gisanddata said three people in Kazakhstan died from COVID-19.

Kazakhstan has confirmed 49 cases so far, including 22 in Almaty, 25 in Nur-Sultan and 2 in Karaganda.

“We refute this information. Five new coronavirus infection cases were confirmed in Kazakhstan today. They included two cases in Karaganga: passengers of Minsk-Karaganda flight, born in 1971 and 1972; 3 cases in Almaty: a young woman born in 1982 and a woman born in 1979 that arrived from Berlin. The third man, born in 1997, arrived from France. 49 cases in total. Condition of all 49 patients is satisfactory. There are no lethal cases in Kazakhstan,” Akhmetsharip said.
