26 new cases of coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan, 42 in total

AKIPRESS.COM - 26 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Kyrgyzstan as of March 24 noon, the total number of coronavirus cases in Kyrgyzstan is 42 now, said Deputy Health Minister Tolo Isakov at a meeting of the republican headquarters today.

They were placed in state infectious hospital in Bishkek, Osh regional hospital, Nookat district hospital, Jalal-Abad regional hospital, Batken regional hospital.

In addition, 4 more people with suspected coronavirus infection were hospitalized, their repeated test results are not ready yet. 96 people have tests with doubtful results, but so far they tested negative.

A total of 142 people were hospitalized (68 men and 74 women) including:

- two children under 1 year old, one tested positive;

- a 6-year-old child with a positive result;

- a 14-year-old with a positive result.

The others are aged between 16 to 86 years.
