12yo girl from remote district of Kyrgyzstan sews face masks for needy people for free

AKIPRESS.COM - A schoolgirl from remote Jumgal district, Naryn region is sewing face masks and giving away them to the needy for free.

12-year-old Aiperi and her grandmother are sewing medical masks.

Schoolgirl's grandmother says they have already sewed 500 face masks for the district hospital and 1,000 more face masks will be distributed among poor families.

Aiperi studies in the 5th grade. She is interested in embroidery since 2nd grade.

It was her idea to make such donation during the coronavirus pandemic.
