Tajikistan confirms 61 more COVID-19 cases, 522 in total

AKIPRESS.COM - Sixty one new COVID-19 cases were confirmed by the evening of May 8 in Tajikistan, the Ministry of Health said.

Two patients died.

The total number of confirmed cases reached 522. These cases include 233 in Dushanbe, 139 in Sughd region, 83 in districts of republican subordination, 59 in Khatlon region, 18 in Gorno-Badakhshan region.

The number of lethal cases linked to coronavirus reached 14.

4,286 people remain in hospitals under medical observation.
