AKIPRESS.COM - Ex-Speaker and MP Chynybai Tursunbekov died on July 6, his colleagues said.

He was earlier diagnosed pneumonia. He was put up on ventilator.

His aide said earlier his condition was stable and that he was recovering.

He was 59 years old.

Chynybai Tursunbekov was Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan in 2016-2017.

He will be buried on July 7 at Ala-Archa Cemetery.
