AKIPRESS.COM - The second virtual conference for Mongolia-China cooperation mechanism in response to COVID-19 pandemic was held on July 3, reports Montsame.
The Department of Neighboring Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Department of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China led the virtual conference. Representatives of border, customs, specialized inspection, trade and transport as well as staff members from the Embassies in the two countries attended the event.
Sides agreed to continue economic cooperation during pandemic, especially transportation of goods and people under the condition of restrictions, and agreed to implement a temporary procedure called Green Gateway.
The procedure will allow people with reasonable excuses and foreign experts to enter the country amid COVID-19 to take part in bilateral trade, logistics, manufacturing, maintenance and development projects.
