AKIPRESS.COM - At-Bashi district of Naryn region has a picturesque pasture Tuz Ashuu.
It is 80 km away from the district center.
It is used by locals to graze cattle in summer time.
Many tourists come to the pasture this year, shepherds say.
They come mainly for mare milk, which people drink unfermented because of its purported health benefits. Mare milk is particularly rich in whey protein, polyunsaturated fatty acids and vitamin C.
Ten families stay at the pasture now, district forest range director Akyl Tashtanbekov said.
