AKIPRESS.COM - Young couple set up business and created new workplaces in Tilekmat village, Jeti-Oguz district of Issyk-Kul region.

Eleman Sabyrbekov and Altyngul Japarova opened sewing workshop and provided 10 villagers with jobs. Workers sew children clothes that are exported abroad, Ak-Dobo subdistrict governor Taalaibek Bayamanov said.

The couple says that their parents assisted them with money to open workshop. They use a part of their house as working space.

Eleman and Altyngul earlier worked in sewing workshops in Bishkek. They monitor the quality of production in the first place now.

Sewing masters make 500 children clothing items a day. There are many orders, so they are planning to buy more sewing machines.

“When we had some experience, we decided to start our own business. Altyngul has a degree in economy, but she successfully managed to learn sewing. We’re sharing our experiences with villagers. Soon we are planning to build a bigger working site for 50 places,” Eleman said.
