President of Mongolia congratulates Yoshihide Suga on election as Prime Minister of Japan

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga congratulated Yoshihide Suga on becoming the 99th Prime Minister of Japan.

President Battulga noted the strategic partnership between Mongolia and Japan has been mobilized in all areas of endeavor, and expressed confidence in expansion of the friendship and cooperation built on mutual trust in the coming years.

Japan's parliament elected September 16 Yoshihide Suga as the country's new prime minister, following the resignation of Shinzo Abe. Shinzo Abe announced his resignation last month citing ill health.
