AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Erlan Abdyldaev met in Berlin with the Chairman of the Central Asian Group in the Bundestag, Member of Bundestag Manfred Grund and members of this group.

Ambassador Abdyldaev told about the development of events in the post-election period in Kyrgyzstan, the stable functioning of the new Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as plans for holding presidential and parliamentary elections and conducting constitutional reforms in Kyrgyzstan, the Foreign Ministry said. 

The Bundestag members confirmed the interest of the German side in the further progressive development of democratic processes and the strengthening of parliamentarism in Kyrgyzstan.

Chairman Manfred Grund, on behalf of the Central Asian group headed by him, expressed readiness to support the Kyrgyz-German inter-parliamentary cooperation and expressed his intention to visit Kyrgyzstan after the stabilization of the epidemic situation.
