AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs Nyamtseren Enkhtaivan held a phone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on December 15 exchanging views on bilateral relations and cooperation matters, Montsame reported. 

Noting that friendly relations between Mongolia and Qatar have been expanding and developing, Minister Enkhtaivan underlined the importance of mutual support for overcoming challenges and difficulties faced globally due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Minister thanked the Qatari side for the donation of medical equipment and items worth USD 150,000 for Mongolia’s efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

The Qatari Minister expressed his intent for further development of bilateral cooperation and realizing high-level reciprocal visits.
