AKIPRESS.COM - Poland will reopen its embassy in the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar in January 2021, the Polish foreign minister announced on Thursday.
Zbigniew Rau said the decision was an important step in tightening relations between the two countries.
Mongolian ambassador to Poland, Dorj Barkhas, was informed about the reopening of the embassy at a meeting with Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Przydacz, foreign service head Andrzej Papierz and the Polish ambassador to Mongolia, Krzysztof Bojko.
The Polish embassy in Ulaanbaatar was closed in 2009.
